As I booked the hotel at very short notice, the price was very reasonable. Everything was as promised. The room was ok. The breakfast was simple and the same every morning, but there was plenty of food for me. Good location - a very nice cafe and a Spar store very close by.
It could have been a bit cleaner, the furniture could be a bit newer. The WC with a shower was very tiny - it could be complicated for a larger person. The stairs were quite steep, but overall not a major problem. For a one-star hotel not bad. I have seen much worse.

The breakfast was a little too much for my appetite but good quality bread .
My only issue was with the stairs. At age of 79 three storeys of narrow stairs was difficult for me especially after a day sightseeing the city on foot. If I come.again I would request a room on a lower level.
I found it difficult to get the shower to the right temperature for me.

Breakfast was sent to the room in a cooler bag. It was the same throughout the stay. Varying them would be good.
The location was good at an intersection. It is right next to a Palestinian restaurant, and many restaurants and mini-marts along the road headed towards the central area (which is about 10 mins walk).
The room is a loft with the bed and TV above. It would be better to equip the room with a mini-fridge, a kettle and a microwave oven. Shops close early so these would be useful at night.
