The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great too. The shower worked well and we had plenty of hot water. The AC is quiet and worked well on the heat setting to keep us warm. The location is great, a few minutes from the main road and right on the Virginia Creeper Trail which should be opening again in March 2027.
There are a few refinements needed, knobs on the chest of drawers and a little more furnishings in the living room to make it more cosy. I do appreciate that a lot had to be done after Helene and this is probably a work in progress. I would stay here again in spite of the imperfections.

Nice place. Great location. Very close to creeper trail shuttle services and to downtown. Clean and roomy. Full kitchen with dining area. Nice cookware. Laundry room.
The front door had a keypad lock with deadbolt which made it easy to enter, but there was no other way to lock the door from the inside other than the deadbolt that was accessible by the keypad. Maybe add a slide chain lock or an additional locking system inside for more safety.
