Great location AWAY from the business of the pier. The distance is only about 10-15 mins on foot, depending on whether you want to walk like a New Yorker hurling to death door or a true Italian in dolce vita. Either way, Venice WILL slow one down as the 2nd day, 3rd door, 4th day… kick in BECAUSE there are narrow (I mean narrow as a one person-width access) cobblestone walkways in between brick buildings. The unit was very clean. Everything was furnished, including shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. Shower head water pressure was very strong despite being on the top floor. Clothing washer was efficient. We did one load of laundry in early morning. Hung them up on the terrace on the top floor. Dried by the time we came back for a quick break in late afternoon by 5-ish. The key is to pick clothings with quick-dry/moisture wicking material. Since we are talking about Venice, weather permitting, bring lace / linen, airy type of clothes. Francesca the host stocked up water bottles and prosecco in the frig before our arrival. Key code and physical key access and retrieval was a breeze because Francesca met us in person on day of arrival and throughout the stay as needs arise (download WhatsApp as everyone is using it in Europe and Asia). Per our requests on 1st day of arrival, Francesca WhatsApp us a list of local bakeries and restaurants that locals would go. Dinner reservation was highly recommended in tourist season. We did with and without dinner reservations. If you plan to have 7-7:30pm dinner (trust me, your body will adjust to local, “normal” dinner starting time @ 8-9pm easily in time to have that dolce vita mindset), your odds of getting a table without reservation is higher.

None. The lack of elevator is a non-issue as it’s a way of enjoying the moment, living like a local resident.

Ottima sistemazione per un soggiorno a Venezia. La posizione è comoda e molto tranquilla e silenziosa. L’appartamento preso aveva anche l’accesso ad un terrazzino, da cui si godeva di una vista spettacolare sui tetti della città. La proprietaria è stata molto disponibile, gentile e attenta alle nostre esigenze. Un soggiorno davvero piacevole, che consiglio!

The apartment was amazing, very clean with a huge comfortable bed. The roof terrace was the icing on the cake with great views and plenty space to dine, relax and sunbathe. The apartment was also central and close to the grand canal and main attractions.Francesca our host was also excellent, great communication and advice on where to go.

Tutto era perfetto! Ottima posizione dell'appartamento in una calle tranquilla però facilmente raggiungibile in pochi minuti dall'Arsenale. L'appartamento curatissimo con tutto il necessario. Una terrazza splendida! Grazie, Francesca 🫶
