The accommodation is very close to the historical city center and to the central train station.
The property was poorly cleaned and had a distinct moldy odor throughout. The bathroom and kitchen were the worst areas - the fridge had dark stains and mold inside, and the cutlery and utensils were filthy.

Great little apartment for a solo traveller in a perfect location for exploring Riga.

Location is good. Lots of places to eat, get coffee, shop (Origo Shopping centre with a Lido restaurant) close by. About a 10 minute walk to get to the old town. Takes you through/by lovely park areas. I appreciated being able to wash clothes.
NOTE there are stairs up to this apartment and you must be able to lift your luggage over the bottom of the front gate (about 5 cm).
I didn’t find the bed comfortable. There is a fire extinguisher on top of the cupboards. I can’t imagine anyone reaching it without a ladder. I don’t think the tap water is good to drink but there was no note regarding this. I made tea and threw it out due to the taste. There was a bottle of water but I didn’t realize that’s why it was there. It was the only place I stayed on my 4 country trip where I couldn’t drink the tap water.
