Alexandra Hotel Blackpool

You got what you paid for, hot powerful shower, bed was ok comfort, smelt and looked clean, tv worked well, tea and coffee facilities, good for a single night stay

I would call it a bedsit rather than a hotel, the people who ran it lived downstairs, the old breakfast area was there lounge area so did feel a little odd as you could see in, but they were friendly enough, not much parking so we went round the corner to a public car park

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, quiet family room. Exceeded expectations, will definitely stop here again.

Room was a little small but an crammed but overall the hotel is value for money and it was a nice an clean room with a comfy bed.

The only thing was the size of the room but for the price, I can’t expect a spacious room.

Nowhere to go other than your bedroom as lounge had no facilities like a tv or bar? Furniture in there all over and looked more like a storage room than a lounge. No atmosphere to welcome guests and no one else sat in there but us as my mother-in-law couldn’t constantly do the stairs so we had to sit in there. Hotel felt closed down and always in the dark. No reception, no one around, no music just a really lost hotel. Won’t be staying again. Met one lady who ran the hotel and that was it, she was pleasant but I felt we were intrusive most of the time. Shocking parking, two spaces only. Tv in mother-in-law’s room didn’t work. Rooms clean but small. Would only recommend spending one night here as it’s not a long stay hotel as very minimal for what’s required. Don’t leave negative reviews usually but sorry this was a hotel I couldn’t wait to check out of. Spent money for three days to stay outside the hotel as it really is just a get your head down hotel.
