There are vacation rentals, and then there are the places that hold the stories of your life (especially when we need to escape the busy Chicago city life). For years, our families, a tight knit group of two best friends and our sons have made this Steamboat condo our sanctuary. It is so much more than a place to stay; it is the backdrop for a lifetime of memories and the place where our boys have grown up together, season after season. This condo is versatile and has also hosted unforgettable girl's trips that were an absolute blast. From the moment you walk through the door, you can feel the care and thought put into the decor. It is sophisticated yet incredibly welcoming and fitting for a mountain condo. After a long day on the mountain, there is nothing quite like gathering around the fireplace. The layout is perfect for a group, offering space to breathe while keeping everyone connected in a cozy space that feels intentional and warm. The logistics are a dream. The shuttle transfers to the base of the mountain make skiing with a group and equipment easy. Even better, when we want to head into the heart of Steamboat for dinner or shopping, it's just a short, easy walk to catch the bus to town. The heated pool and three hot tubs are our FAVORITE way to unwind. Soaking under the Colorado stars after a long day of adventure has become a tradition we never miss. While we fell in love with this condo in the winter, the summer experience is just as spectacular. We spend hours on the private balcony, soaking in the mountain air and the stillness of the Rockies. Or enjoy the walking trails right out the back door—to be in the beauty of the Colorado landscape in seconds. The proximity to hiking and town activities makes it a year-round destination. We have developed memories of a lifetime in this condo. Whether you are looking for a premier ski base camp or a peaceful summer escape, this property is a true Steamboat Dreamboat! We are counting down the days until our next return!
