A lovely location, with great access to Windermere and the surrounding areas, we used the bus to get around, at the time of writing this cost is £2 single way. The garden is not contained and a shared area, so if you have a dog you need to be aware it's an open area. The property is lovely in side and has all you need.

My friend and myself had a lovely stay here. The cottage was lovely, situated in a very quiet area, and was the perfect spot for us to go and do everything we wanted to do - including walking a few minutes to get the open top bus to Ambleside! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We did find the front door almost impossible to lock/unlock, a better tin opener is certainly needed in the kitchen, and the bathroom fan made an almighty noise like you were on a flight path. However none of these points affected our stay, and we definitely recommend it!

Well equipped and comfortable cosy cottage with convenient parking. Only downside was the problem to lock and unlock the front door which was a bit frustrating.
