Immediately felt at home. Small touches such as toys and games for kiddos; brilliant outdoor seating area; calm colours and positive vibe. Laundry inside, comfortable beds, great shower pressure, auto ice maker, and outdoor area that was enjoyable even in the high heat and humidity! The fans outside allowed us to take afternoon cat naps outside. We used most of the outdoor toys and rode bikes briefly (helmets included for use). We didn’t use the grill or fire pit this trip, sadly bx s’mores outside with the neighbours would be a blast! Our host, Bibiana, was wonderful to communicate with, answered all our pre-stay questions quickly and recommended local places for coffee, nibbles, shopping and more. We found the Clear Lake Shores community to be welcoming and the neighbours so fun!!! We met heaps of families and locals during our stay, and found everyone appreciated their home and respected their community culture. It’s a great walk around the island and the (almost) hidden parks, little library, and memorial benches and green spaces add to the exploration, especially for kids. Many photos op locations, bird and boat watching too. All the shopping you could need is close by, traffic is minimal compared to other areas around Houston. It was truly a restful vacation.

Had a great weekend, happen to run out of towels as there was 4 of us staying and only found 3 towels, but wasn’t a big deal as they also have beach towels to use. The outdoor living space is outstanding with the great weather. We have a excellent time and the boardwalk is really close.

Clean area, walking, bike riding, golf cart popular town. Spacious outdoor fun at this place, especially games inside and out for kids to play in the yard.
