The perfect lakefront cabin close to Acadia National Park

Avec ses nombreuses activités à proximité (voile, excursions écologiques et bien plus encore), cette cabane non-fumeurs a décidément tout pour vous plaire. Georges Pond n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pied, vous pourrez donc laisser votre voiture au parking dont dispose l'hébergement ou sauter dans votre véhicule pour le trajet de 8 minutes jusqu'à Abrams Pond.

Regagnez les 74 m² de cette cabane pour vous détendre grâce à une véranda ou un lanai, à du mobilier d'extérieur et à un brasero où se retrouver autour d'un verre. De retour à l'intérieur, profitez des joies de l'intérieur (Wi-Fi, par exemple).

Dans la cuisine, vous trouverez un four, une plaque de cuisson et un réfrigérateur, mais aussi une cafetière, une bouilloire électrique et une casserole à homard. We had an amazing stay at Lantern Shores! The house was clean and well stocked. The house slept our family of 8 comfortably. We loved how close it was to the lakefront and the kayaks to explore the lake. The kids (and adults) loved the diving rock, exploring the island and seeing/hearing the loons and their chicks. We had an amazing blueberry pie from Amy, the next door neighbor. Danielle was helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

We LOVED our stay at Lantern Shores. It was the perfect place for our family of four to explore the Acadia region, but still have a relaxing place to spend time. The location was great, about 20-30 minutes to Schoodic hikes, and 45 minutes to the Bar Harbor Side. We also took the Ferry from Winter Harbor over one day which was fun. The cabin is beautiful and has so many perfect little touches. It was plenty of room for our family of four, the garage loft came in handy too. The beds are very comfortable. The porch was all of our favorite spot. We spent so much time out there. Coffee in the morning, listening to the loons every evening, I’m going to miss it! It got pretty hot the last couple days of our trip, so being able to swim and kayak was wonderful. My kids loved the jumping rock in the middle of the lake. (I would recommend bringing water shoes if you plan to swim, the bottom is pretty rocky)Highly recommend staying here, we would come back!!

Lantern Shores was the perfect place to stay for a week with family. This place offers a beautiful view of George Pond, fishing, swimming and not too far from Acadia and Bar Harbor. We loved the screened porch and our own dock. We also loved the neighbors who were very friendly. The neighbor, Amy owns Flour Power Bakery and made us the most delicious pie! We hope to be back again! Such an amazing rental!
