Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 14 gathered for 4- day Christmas holiday. There was plenty of space for the 6 children to run, play, explore, or stay indoors in the game room! The 8 adults enjoyed games indoors and out, and we all took a short hike. The info indicated a short hike to the lake, but the only road we saw was private and we were turned away. We had a rude awakening Christmas morning when the doorbell kept going off and then we smelled an electrical smell. The staff was very prompt and helpful. You can't plan for those things, it did not deter from our celebration!! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and appliances! The cottage had a squeaky fan and an uncomfortable bed, but we still enjoyed having a place to gather together and enjoy the holiday. It rained of and on so the covered porch was nice. Town was about 25 minutes away... we enjoyed a movie and dinner! We would rent again! Oh, and several enjoyed the hot tub!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 15 of us stayed at The J’s Nest and Cottage to celebrate Christmas. We had an amazing time and wanted for nothing. The homes are incredibly well stocked with everything one could need to cook, play, and sleep. Kudos as well to whomever cleans the homes as they were impressively clean and well maintained. We loved most of all the beautiful view of the lake from both homes, the swings, the outdoor games, the plentiful seating, the spacious bathrooms, the comfortable beds and pillows, and the gorgeous cat that roams free outside and graced us with her presence. Thank you for an amazing stay filled with beautiful memories.

Upon arrival we were delighted at the property from a distance! As we entered the front door we were greeted with a messy porch, unraveled hose, broken solar lights and many, many cobwebs on the front porch. This encouraged us to really check other areas of the property. Rather than going on and on about the rental- I would rather be fair in saying that Paso Robles Vacation Property took care of sending up a maintenance man to fix all the issues. He worked along side my husband fixing all the issues for our first full day. The management company was fabulous and the rest of our week was delightful. The view is spectacular, the kitchen was fully equipped as I love to cook for a big family. Plenty of room for a large party and ample seating outdoors as well. The lake was a short drive away and we had plenty of room to park our boat and 4 other cars with ease. The house is definitely 100% cleaner than we found it and ready for the next vacationer. I would recommend this rental. Follow Waze to get to the property with ease and try not to travel at night- its tricky to find on the first day.
