Property was clean and beds were very comfortable. Lots of space for our family both inside and out. The pool was clean and perfect for our family.

This was our second stay at this home, and we’ll definitely be back! The house has everything our family needs and is the perfect size for a relaxing vacation. It’s just a short drive to the beach, which makes it incredibly convenient. One of our favorite features is the pool—it’s the perfect way to unwind after a day at the beach. The home is always spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The communication with the owner is outstanding. They are responsive, helpful, and make the entire experience easy from start to finish. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great beach getaway!

This was our first time using VRBO and I'm very happy with the experience! It was also our first time visiting the area (Butler Beach) and I can't wait to come back! The host's communication was excellent - they were super responsive when I had a question and kept me informed / reached out throughout our stay. The house is exactly as described and we really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and it's so easy to get to the beach. We specifically wanted to be close to the drive on beach for our pup, and were really happy with the location. Yes, the house is showing some signs of wear, but overall it's in excellent shape and was SUPER clean! I was impressed - especially with it being pet friendly. We've rented MANY places in OBX and they are not nearly as clean or well taken care of as this home. The hosts provide more upon check-in than I expected (hand soap in all bathrooms, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, some dishwasher pods, washing machine pods, dish soap, 4 trash bags) - I brought all my own from home and didn't need to use any of it for the 2 of us over our 4 day stay. Wifi worked great and we appreciated the TV in the primary bedroom. The fenced in yard was so nice for our dog to be able to roam free and not be leashed the whole time. The home is located close to grocery stores and restaurants, without being in a crazy busy area. Overall, we had a great stay and I would absolutely rent this home again.

Our stay was perfect at Seahorse Retreat.VRBO never updated our real location. But the owners went out of their way to keep communicating with us. Great vacation.
