The property was good for our visit to the AKC National Agility Championship (2025). This was very close to the Expo center with lots of places to eat. The neighborhood is quiet and a nice open park area just south of the property to bring your dogs for some exercise. There are 4 bedrooms that have plenty of space and nice gathering areas. The backyard is fenced and has some grass area for dogs. However, there is a lot of brush and stuff along the edges of the fence line and the lower part of the yard that could be potential issues for your dog. Just keep eyes on the dog.Through no fault of the property owner, there are dogs that live outside on the back northeast corner of the yard. These dogs have a tendancy to rush to the fence while barking which could trigger a dog in the yard. These dogs did bark all night so would advise a sound machine to help with that. Would just suggest not to let dogs out in the yard without supervision. The place was clean and welcoming. We would definitely stay again with our dogs and the people were great to work with.

The home has several maintenance issues including water leaking inside during a rainstorm by the front entrance. There were slugs on the floor in the converted garage. The wall to the converted garage is no longer attached to the foundation and this room is completely unusable for someone to sleep. The pictures were very misleading. We found a lot of maintenance concerns and even cosmetic things like peeling paint and the house just needs a lot of tlc to be on the rental market in our opinion. We would not be booking this place a second time. The dog friendly aspect was ruined because there were large aggressive German shepherds behind the home that barked all day long and any time we tried to take our dogs out they would go crazy to the point we had to go back inside. The chai link fence is also not secure in the backyard so we had to keep our dogs on a leash every time they went outside.
