Amity Beach Resort

Absolute paradise! The perfect stay on Lamai Beach ! I stayed in the beachfront bungalow, and it was hands down the most adorable beach house I have ever experienced ! The location right on Lamai Beach was fantastic—close to everything yet so peaceful. The view of the sea was absolutely breathtaking, and falling asleep to the soothing sound of the ocean waves at night was pure magic. The bungalow itself was incredibly cozy and comfortable. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and secure here. The staff are such lovely people; they took amazing care of me,.They went above and beyond to help with everything. I highly recommend this place and I cannot wait to come back again!

The room had excellent facilities with all you need. The staff is outstanding and very helpful and will assist you whenever you need. Also, they have a great beachfront and tiki bar.

The location is a bit far from the city

Old, partially renovated bungalows facing a beautiful, quiet beach. Only one bungalow, H3, is directly on the beachfront, which I found excellent and very good value for money. H1 and H2 are slightly further back without view but still acceptable as you can hear the sea.

The other rooms are located in a dark alley at the back, which is not attractive at all and surrounded by a messy construction site. They may be cheaper, but I personally wouldn’t consider them for a holiday unless being a backpacker on a tight budget! To sum up: H3 is great; the others are not worth it in my opinion. FYI: no breakfast, no service at all (good luck if you find someone at the reception desk). This is a 2 star resort, very basic!
