Very nicely furnished house in a very good location (5 mins and you are in the centre). The parking was very easy even with our large car. We had the unfortunate experience of arriving just as the water for the district was cut due to a burst water main. Caroline was very supportive and kept us informed throughout. It was apparently chaos at the water bottle distribution points. We solved it by going out to eat at the Slanted Door restaurant! Next day was back to normal. We like Stamford, especially at the Friday market, it has a very good feel to the whole place. Managed to book to get in at a new Italian restaurant Panevino, which has a lovely setting right on the river. It has a great outdoor wharf area on the river. Nicer for the summer months. The outside seating area at the house was great, as it is sheltered from the wind, being set lower the road. All the fixtures and fittings in the house had an upmarket feel to them.

Could we have a bigger duvet please? It was duvet wars every night!

Lovely house with all the facilities you'd expect from an owner who obviously cares about her customers. Very pleasant and private garden with seating. The location of the property was excellent with only a very short walk necessary to get into the centre of Stamford. Off street parking is another bonus to this property as I noticed a local car park charging £8 a day and a lot of "residents only" on street parking.

Luxury House Stamford is a real gem, perfectly located just a few minutes walk to town centre with ample parking space. The interior is fitted throughout with beautiful light fittings and curtains, top quality kitchen appliances, very comfy beds with luxurious bedding and towels, the bathroom is exceptional with free standing bath which is great for relaxing whilst watching the wall mounted television after a days exploring. A lot of thought has gone into all the detail down to providing lots of local information on Stamford’s past history and suggested historical town walks. Highly recommended
