The Beehive had everything you need for a short stay ( inc tea, coffee and milk) I was visiting friends who live round the corner so location was perfect for me, but also only a 10 min walk to beach and central Exmouth. Located in a quiet residential street, so very quiet.
Nothing

Quiet location. All basic needs provided for. Easy access to beach and town centre (10/15 min walk). Plenty of on street parking.
Shower was a little under powered. Bed up against a wall was a bit awkward. Had to relocate the plug in night lights in the room as they kept going off.

Self contained studio was great
Would generally best suit an individual for a long stay but a couple could probably cope for a weekend
Parking good in a town that has limited parking
Users of the beehive who are ambulant can access the sea front etc easily but the walk does contain hills
Nothing really

It was clean and everything worked and the location was perfect for our long weekend. Bee theme was entertaining and the honey for sale was very tasty.
Personally I am tall so found the settee and bed (futon type) a bit too low. The TV was too small because it was too far away from the settee to see comfortably.
Shower has no fan to remove steam so very foggy when finished showering making the room feel a bit damp until it dissipated - probably not a big issue when you can get the main door and windows open in summer.
