Spacious clean apartment with a good balcony that was close to bus and train links, with a nearby supermarket and also close to many restaurants. The furniture is old but functional and there is a working washing machine and laundry equipment. The apartment is very secure with an electric metal shutter on the balcony window and a very good lock on the main door. There is a small lift to the apartment from the rear entrance to the building that holds 2 people. It was a 20 minute walk to the old town and a few minutes more to a very good beach near the church of St Michaels. The main beach beside the casino is very rocky and difficult to walk on, we always used the better beach at the old town Menton is like a quieter smaller version of Nice and we felt safe at all times during our stay even walking at night felt very relaxed.

There was no electric kettle so we had to use a pot to boil water for tea or coffee and the lock to the front door of the building did not work, the key just turned but did not unlock the door for entry, we could go out that way but not come back in via that door we always had to get in via the rear entrance.

Incredible location, only 6-8 minutes walk to the beach. Railway station is 4 min walk. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. The apartment is very spacious with a big balcony. Airco was working perfectly. Overall, I did enjoy my stay very much.

J'avais demandé une chambre calme lors de la réservation. Mais chaque matin, j'ai été réveillé par les trains. On entend les trains depuis l'appartement. Je n'étais pas informé. Le Check-in se fait en récupérant les clés dans un locker accroché par antivol à une barrière sur un parking à proximité de l'immeuble. Je n'ai jamais vu ça. Je n'ai pas aimé du tout.
