Apartaments Vall de Núria

La ubicación es inmejorable, el hotel es amplio y agradable. El personal de recepción es agradable especialmente el chico joven.

No te avisan que las canoas es solo en verano, y era uno de los motivos por los que ibamos. El Torgo tampoco disponible y no te lo dicen. Para una persona mayor limita mucho las actividades si no hay eso. La fianza la he tenido que reclamar porqué no estaba procesada.

Vall de Nuria is sooo beautiful and the hotel is located right by the trails, train and cable car. nice aparthotel with a comfortable apartment with enough space for all of us and comfortable 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was great with many options and eggs made to order. Good value and because the rain didn't stop and there were no trains, they let us check out late for free.

No air-condition and the rooms were hot. Couldn't open the window because it doesn't open when it rains Food at dinner was not great. Meat overcooked, boring options with no vegetarian options other than pasta and asparagus. Most of the staff were not friendly. The layout of the hotel complex is very hard to understand and navigate. It's the only hotel in Nuria so we'll be back.

The one bedroom apartment is nice enough, but no way it is suitable for more than 2 guests, cause if you where to use sofa, it would take all of the space. The views where good, heating - sufficient (maybe even too much), kitchen was comfortable, overall - staying in the apartment much better experience than staying in their hotel room. I read in reviews that some people have had problems with stinky apartment, that they couldnt open the windows and the cleaning was poor. There was some smell initially, but a quick ventilation with all windows open helped that and for the rest of the stay the smell was ok (except in the bathroom, perhaps). On one of the radiators the nob didnt seem to work for adjusting intensity, but it didnt bother me personally.

1 - check the weather forecast very well and make sure they will not ask you to leave in the middle of your stay due to weather conditions. From Barcelona it can take about 4 or even 5 hours traveling (with waiting for the connections) and it is not fun if you stay one afternoon and got to make same journey back next morning. 2 - they do not have a kettle and do not have big mugs. Coffee can be made only with the Italian coffee maker and you may struggle to understand how to use if you do not have sufficient experience. 3 - they do not have decent soup or cereal bowls - what they have is something very shallow and difficult to use. 4- I am happy to recycle rubbish, BUT - there is always going to be what they call "restos" (rubbish with is mixed, neither plastic, organic etc) and I couldn't find a bin for that. No matter how hard You try, there is always going to be diapers etc.. 5 - the plastic cards for accessing elevator and apartment are very very bad. if you are not lucky it can take easily up to 10 tries to get in where its needed. However at the reception they do something to improve how the cards work. Apparently it is not ok to keep them next to the mobile (thats what they tell you at the reception).
