Location and garden
The stairs were very very steep. I wasn’t prepared for that and I was glad I hadn’t invited my mother who would never have managed it. Not sure if it was mentioned in the description but really should be. However, it didn’t Spa the stay we managed it.

Gorgeous located property, no more than a five minute walk to the property. Clean house and modern kitchen and bathroom.
Steep stairs but was prepared for this as read similar reviews. Would have loved some black out blinds in the bedroom, as rooms became bright from 5:30am. (Visited end of May in the heat wave)

A lovely terraced cottage 2 minutes walk from the centre of Whitstable so the location is perfect but it's still really quiet considering how close to the main high street it is. It is beautifully decorated, has a fully equipped kitchen, the beds are really comfy and the bathroom very clean. The garden gets the sun most of the day and has really comfy sofa and chairs to relax on, which is great to watch all the flurry of birds going about.
The stairs are really steep, particularly up to the loft, which didn't bother us but it is something to be mindful of if you have a heavy suitcase! Also, if staying in the summer, recommend taking eye shades as the window blinds aren't great for keeping the light out at 5am (for those who find that sort of thing an issue).

location to the high street and beach and all facilities
the steepness of the stairs and in particular the top stairs were so narrow and tiny. would not recommend anyone with any mobility issues .
