Hotel Horizon Entebbe

The Staff! Reception and concierge were absolutely fantastic. Special mention to Ketra who made sure a I got the best room with a view of lake Victoria. She was responsive to my needs throughout my stay and extended my reservation without any issues.

Property is well ventilated and protected against mosquitoes. I never had any bites even without a mosquito net

Good location close to the airport. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

My room was very basic for the price. The aircon didn’t work properly and I had to get a member of staff to get the tv to work. The batteries were flat in both remotes, one was fixed for me but I had to fumble with the buttons on the underside of the tv for some options. The noise from the outside traffic, I was on a room on the main road side, was dreadful, no insulator all so hardly got any sleep. I was told breakfast started at 6.30am (which is quite late for an airport hotel). I arrived at 6.40am and nothing was ready. Eventually could get some food at around 6.55am, not ideal when you need to get to the airport. The food offering was poor compared to other hotels I stayed with in Uganda.
