Four Sides Beyoglu

Warm, professional welcome at the arrival. Room, bathroom very clean, in very good condition, big bed, super comfortable to sleep. In a room there is water, tea coffee, small fridge. Room size is on the smaller side, but i was walking and sightseeing all days, so for me as a solo traveller it wasn't a problem. Professional and polite staff serving breakfast, at the reception, communication in English wasn't a problem. Superb location, just few minutes, from Istiklal Street and Taksim Square and about 15 min walk to Tophane tram stop for Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque direction. Very tasty breakfast served to table. Definitely recommended hotel. My nine days of holidays were perfect, in big part because of this hotel.

The location is brilliant, really close to main bars, Taksim Square and shopping but just off a couple of side streets meaning it was quiet too.

Rooms are tight, but we knew this in advance. Paint in the bathroom was peeling away but didn’t impact anything. Just used the wrong type.

Good location, friendly staff and low price.

- Dirty room, a lot of hairs everywhere. - Uncomfortable bed. - Mold in the bathroom. - Old nasty towels. - Bad shower supplies, soapy water instead of shower gel. - The air conditioner only worked during the day, it was +28 in my room at one moment. - Poor ventilation, the only way to get some fresh air is to open the window. But it's very noisy outside and smells bad sometimes.
