Friendly owner, very affordable and helped me organise a taxi to the airport and a shower beforehand which I very much appreciated
Aircon was hard to turn on, but not broken and the owner turned it on for us. Not an issue at all

The family that run it are very friendly and helpful. Any questions you had they had the answer
Great location right in the centre of everything but just up an alley way so very quiet for sleeping . And a great breakfast

It was in a perfect location to lots of things in Hanoi. The rooms were nice enough, the staff was lovely and you can check in at any time
I got bitten by lots of mosquitoes while in bed, I didn't mind but for solo travellers to know it was not very social - my dorm was no one speaking. The dorm was smelly but obviously that's due to the people in the dorm not the place. It's a good place just to sleep. Also the hostel rooftop bar was never open in the evening
