This family-run hotel and restaurant is located directly on the marketplace in the Old Town, and makes the perfect starting point for sightseeing. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Home to the Holy Spirit Church and the town hall, the marketplace marks the start of a long pedestrian zone lined with restaurants, outdoor cafes and shops. Many of the city’s sights can be explored on foot from here, including the Old Bridge, the River Neckar, the university and Heidelberg Castle. The nearby mountain railway takes you to the castle or the top of the Königstuhl mountain, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city and surrounding landscape.
