A very pleasant self-catering studio about 70 metres down the hill from the main hotel and towards the town centre. It is on the first floor of a very pretty town house, and has good enough cooking/eating equipment. There is an excellent food section in a department store further down the hill in the town centre, about 200 metres away ... if you are ok with carrying your groceries back up to the accommodation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the hotel’s convenient location made it an excellent choice. We would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.

The staff is absolutely amazing. Truly the kindest and nicest people out of our whole trip throughout Switzerland and Italy. It’s an older home but extremely clean and it’s very well kept. I normally never leave reviews but this place and staff truly stood out.

Hotel was very well located close to the train station.
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous with a long history since its inception.
Excellent service by everyone we encountered at the hotel. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful.
Room was beautiful and very clean.
Breakfast is included and was plentiful and very tasty.
Would highly recommend this hotel if in Lugano. Easy walk from train station and walkable to the lake front albeit hilly but we are both in our 70’s and it was easy/peasy!
