We had a wonderful stay! The innkeepers were so friendly and helpful. It was fun to learn the history of the house, especially since the were so into the history. Donnie is an excellent chef and made a wonderful breakfast for us. We were only there for one night since we were visiting our son and he only had one day off. We would definitely recommend as a place to stay for one night, or much longer. Charles Town was a cool place to visit and there are several towns around with fun downtown areas and a lot of historical sites it that is your thing.

We had a nice overnight stay. This was exactly what we were looking for due to it's close proximity to Harpers Ferry and Antietam. The town and the inn were quaint and charming. We didn't spend enough time to fully appreciate the location, but the inn had everything we needed and has been kept up very nicely with some added modern conveniences. Breakfast was good but not great.

A beautiful historic home with its own fascinating Civil War history, we enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast was delicious! Donnie, the owner and chef, gave great travel suggestions and told interesting stories about the house. We stayed in the Sunrise Room, which has its bathroom down a few steps and is at the front of the home. Will probably try to get the Garden View Room next time, due to its location at the rear of the home and its bath on the same level. Regardless, we highly recommend this home for a memorable and historic experience.
