Coco Grove Beach Resort

Coco Grove Resort in Siquijor is truly a world-class resort that maintains excellent standards in service, hospitality, and guest experience. The beautiful white sand beach and marine sanctuary are amazing, allowing guests to snorkel and enjoy the beauty of marine life. The resort also helps arrange tours, making it easy to explore the island. During our stay, we enjoyed the BBQ night with delicious food and beautiful entertainment. Coco Grove is a perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and experience the best of Siquijor.

This was our second stay at Coco Grove resort. It is a very nice place to stay, so many good things to say about this resort. Rooms were very nice, pools very nice and food very nice. Thanks to Roselio and Mars the stay was turly wonderful and looking forward to coming back next February.

Coco Grove Beach Resort exceeded my expectations. I especially loved that it's not an oversized resort, so you can easily walk back to your room from anywhere on the property. The staff were exceptional, always friendly and welcoming. The landscaping is beautiful and gives the whole resort a peaceful, tropical feel. The restaurants are reasonably priced, the two large pools (plus a smaller relaxation pool) mean it's always easy to find a quiet spot, and the complimentary port transfers were a great touch. The beach is part of a marine sanctuary, so the snorkeling is fantastic. Expect to meet Nemo and plenty of his friends. The WiFi was also the best I experienced anywhere in the Philippines, consistently fast and reliable. As a bonus, the resort has a smaller sister property about a five-minute walk down the same beach, and guests have access to it as well if they feel like a change of scenery. My only small observation is that some of the restaurant staff occasionally looked a bit overworked, although they never stopped smiling and providing great service. You can rent a motorbike at the resort, which I did, but I returned not long after because, honestly, why leave paradise?

Stayed here on Siquijor and it exceeded what I expected. The property is large but never feels crowded — lush gardens, coconut palms, and a long stretch of white sand right out front. The Tubod marine sanctuary is steps from the beach, so you can snorkel straight off the shore without booking a boat. Room was clean, well air-conditioned, and having a veranda to sit on in the evening was the best part. The seawater pools are a nice touch. Restaurants on-site are convenient and the food was good, though you'll pay resort prices — there are cheaper places to eat a short ride up the road in San Juan if you want variety. The staff are the standout. Warm, attentive, and unfailingly kind. Getting here takes a ferry from Dumaguete plus a short ride, but it's worth the trip. Would recommend for: couples, families, anyone wanting quiet over nightlife.
