Barceló Portinatx - Adults Only

Great views and nice hotel

We had a lovely stay at Barceló Portinatx. The staff were excellent throughout our holiday, and we met some really friendly people during our stay. The hotel has lovely rooms and fantastic pools, with beautiful sunsets to enjoy each evening. The pool bar food was excellent, the drinks were great, and the buffet was okay with a reasonable selection. We also had a fantastic meal at Los Enramados across the road, which I would highly recommend. One downside is that there are a lot of steps around the property, making it unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Another minor annoyance was having to sign for everything despite being on an all-inclusive package. The patio furniture was comfortable, but the deckchairs were not very practical, so we ended up moving the furniture outside instead. Overall, I would recommend this property as a good 4-star hotel. While we enjoyed our stay, we probably wouldn’t return simply because we like to try different places when we travel.

On arrival we received a very warm welcome, the staff are very attentive and helpful. Our room was clean and bright, bed was very comfortable as we're the pillows. The only downside was the smell of drains not only in our room but around the hotel I think there must have been some sort of an issue as there were a maintenance team looking at this on day 2 of our stay. But dont let this put you off. The breakfast is a must, so well presented and plenty of choice.

Had a suite and it was amazing, so spacious, comfortable, clean and the hot tub was especially great. Food was great and local area is so quite and peaceful.
