When I stay at the Spirit of Herzl Hotel in Jerusalem, it is like I'm staying with family. All of the staff are so welcoming, professional, accommodating, and helpful. SoH is my go-to in Jerusalem. The rooms are modern, spacious; the bathrooms are large and the water is hot; the beds are comfortable; nice, crisp linens; fridge, coffee/tea maker and su
pplies; wardrobe; safe (although mine needed repairs). The food in the restaurant (downstairs) is excellent and the waitstaff are equally so. The location is A++, and in the middle of everything within the historic area. I always look forward to returning to The Spirit of Herzl Hotel in Jerusalem.

The breakfast was not fresh, there was a sewage smell in the room, and there was excessive noise in the hallways during the night. The hotel staff were not present to intervene.
