Tokyu Stay Kyoto Sanjo-Karasuma

The free sake was a nice way to end the day, and the Refa hair products were really nice. We picked up some Refa products after using them in the hotel, as they’re not easily available in the US. There’s also a ton of nice restaurants nearby, as well as general things to do like museums. The in unit washing/ drying machine definitely sealed the deal.

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Karasuma Oike Station, making it easy to get around Kyoto and visit major attractions. There are plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, and cafés nearby. The room was very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious by Japanese standards. One of the best features was the in-room washer/dryer, which was incredibly convenient during our trip. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet at night, so we slept very well. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of Japanese and Western options. It was a great way to start each day before sightseeing. The staff were friendly, professional, and made both check-in and check-out quick and easy. Traveling with my son was much easier because of this hotel. The combination of comfort, location, and excellent facilities made our stay very enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kyoto and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Love the free sake, soda water and coffee available at the lobby. Laundry machine inside the room is extremely convenient.

Our stay in Kyoto was made truly memorable thanks to this wonderful hotel! The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, with a special shoutout to Risa, who was so friendly and attentive. The location is ideal -close to many key attractions and just a short walk from the metro station. Our room was neat, comfortable, and spotless. We also really enjoyed the delicious snacks and drinking sake available in the lobby. Highly recommended!
