Friendly and very helpful owner, comfortable and clean room, very close to major sites and shopping. No reception, so be sure to ask the owner for his number to call if you need anything (this is more like staying in a private home, than a hotel). No food on site, but great restaurants very near by and lots of free snacks in the room!

I was a little hesitant about staying in Venice as I assumed the hotels would be cramped or antiquated. However our stay here was extremely reassuring, relaxing, and enjoyable. The junior sweet was extremely generous with space, had a complimentary and well stocked snack and soft drink bar (the pear juice and muffin was a great start to the day) and gave us great night's sleep due to the quiet surroundings and comfortable bed. The hotel itself is a short walk from St Marks Square and a 5 minute walk from the Giglio ferry stop. This made getting from the train station and navigating the city extremely easy. On addition the Giglio stop is one of the first on the airport orange ferry line which means a straightforward journey to the airport. The hosts were also extremely accommodating and nice, making our stay memorable, straightforward and stress free.
At time of writing the transfer from train station to hotel was €9 each by ferry and the airport was €18 each.
