I’ve been trying to find the perfect spot to stay while I work in SF 4 days a month. This is it! The carriage house was phenomenal! Softest towels and bedding. I forgot my pillow but theirs was better. The parking was amazing! Gated/protected. Oh and the 2 kinds of jasmine and honeysuckle in bloom welcome you to your room. This place is FANTASTIC!

Desiree Heveroh rescued an old Veteran who had a bad day basically. She has mad people skills and should get a raise! Thanks to Carmen and Anna for a spotless room! Absolutely recommend the Hotel Mac! Very thoughtfully appointed! Best stay in the Bay! Outstanding area food and shops and parking. Laid back, easy does it! Sweet back porch! Treat yourself! And thanks again, Desiree!

This is a hidden gem, a beautiful space that I really wish I had spent more time in! A great price for a beautiful and comfortable room--excellent bed!
The only pick up was parking and it was not at all because of property or the staff. Parking for my building (the Annex) was in a small gated lot... The only space left was blocked by some gigantic truck who couldn't Park straight. The only minor, minor problem in the room was the coffee pot which was left on a desk that had no outlet. Then it overflowed the mugin the room. Again, minor thing.
