The house is in an excellent location, in the city centre, on the riverbank and yet not very noisy. Looking out of the windows towards the river is a pleasure in itself. It has very good parking right next to the house with a permit arranged by the owners.
The house is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked with appliances, dishes and cooking utensils etc.,
The only drawback is that there are quite a few stairs so it might not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
We were 3 generations of one family and we spent a very enjoyable week there.

Great location and wonderful owner. Only issue for me was the bed was very hard on my back and hips. Needs more cushioning and better pillows… could just be me though. Other than that, it was a fantastic place to stay.

Excellent location for walking around York seeing the sights. Comfortable bed, lots of space. Very clean. Drains in bathroom very slow. Kitchen well stocked with cooking gear and dishes. Quiet location on the river. Excellent communication with Patrick. Highly recommend for your stay in York.
