the location of the property is fantastic close to the harbour and all the restaurants /bars. The air con is brilliant and the beds comfy. the property is very clean with a well equipped kitchen and good décor. the apartment feels very safe in a nice location which is quiet even with being in close proximity to the restaurants. The parking is good (we didn't use the garage facility as parking on the street was good). We didn't use the pool as the roof terrace was fab with great views.

the spiral staircase to the roof terrace is tight but well worth the effort when at the top. A full length mirror would be good in one of the bedrooms and as you said to us the bathrooms could do with an update but are clean and functional and adequate

Het is een ruim appartement met 2 verdiepingen en 3 slaapkamers. Ook het dakterras is groot en voorzien van koelkast tafel met stoelen en een loungeset. De locatie is supergoed, op loopafstand van de boulevard met veel restaurants en de unieke kerk.

Het appartement is niet zo sfeervol en qua inrichting (met name het sanitair) wat verouderd. De bedden waren wat hard en lagen niet zo fijn. Op andere plekken op onze reis in Spanje zijn we nergens kakkerlakken tegen gekomen, maar in dit appartment hebben we er meerdere gezien. Er waren heel veel handdoeken ter beschikking, alleen waren dit heel veel strand/zwembad handdoeken, die erg slecht afdrogen na het douchen. Er waren weinig 'gewone' handdoeken voor het douchen beschikbaar. In de keuken misten we wijnglazen.

The property is close to the marina and bars and restaurants. The standard of accommodation is good. The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable. Parking is a plus point.

The shower head was broken in the downstairs shower room and got very hot or very cold with just a little turn of the tap. The apartment seemed to run out of hot water quickly. There's no privacy. The apartment is overlooked by neighbours on both sides. So we had to keep the shutters closed most of the time. Net curtains could help. You can hear noise from the neighbours dragging chairs, talking etc. What I particularly didn't like was the check-in time of 5pm. I'm an extensive traveller, and I don't know of any booking I've ever made on booking.com (or various other platforms, including hotels) where 5 pm has ever been advertised as the earliest check in time. 4pm is the latest I've ever known, especially when the checkout time is 10 am. When I raised this issue, I was told I needed to be "kind and considerate."" I really take issue with this statement. To intimate that I'm being unkind for querying standard practices, that 5pm is actually quite late in the day to gain access and get unpacked, potentially eating into our first evening, appears somewhat emotionally manipulative. It intimates that I am being unreasonable; making me the problem instead of the owner managing her business effectively to ensure that clients can gain appropriate access and is poor, in my opinion. The vast majority of check-in and check out times on any booking.com booking is between 11am and 4pm, though 10 am isn't uncommon. In my opinion, every other business is able to coordinate cleaning around these check-in and out times, and as our contract with the owner is purely a business transaction, to make my query personal was very inappropriate.
