The room was clean but a bit dated and the shower cubicle was much to small, the staff were brilliant and the food was the best we have had in a hotel and the portions were very big. Aylsham itself is a lovely village.

The Hotel was quite Olde Worlde dated in places but to be expected given the age of the place, nice comfy bed, clean room, bar area lovely and the outside bar and marquee was excellent,The staff really nice and friendly nothing too much trouble for them,we stayed 2 nights with breakfast very very good portions we struggled a little was very tasty too,we always managed to park behind in the small car park hopefully will return soon.

Lovely room, very clean, good size with all the extras needed, tea/ coffee, hairdryer etc.
Have stayed before, late last year and the communal areas for example outside at the back has been cleaned up and is well maintained making this a wonderful area to now sit.
Food including the breakfast absolutely fantastic.
