DoubleTree by Hilton Trieste

There were 2 of us on this trip to Venice then the Dolomites. We flew into Venice around 3p. Getting transportation from Marco Polo airport was easy. We used a bus. It dropped us off at the standard stop in Venice. From there we were able to wslk while pulling our luggage for just a few blocks; however, one of the 2 bridges that we had to use to go over canals did not have a ramp, and it was a little difficult. The hotel staff - Vladimir and Marco greeted us, took our luggage and brought us prosecco in their courtyard. Vladimir escorted us to our room & showed us how things in the room worked. What a great first impression! Our room was located on the 2nd floor, overlooking the courtyard. It was very clean and comfortable. We were very pleased! The bed was very comfy and it was very quiet. Great nite’s sleep! Breakfast was super great w/ lots of options. If we visit Venice again, we would definitely return to Hotell Moresco!!

The hotel is in the restored former headquarters of an insurance company. It has a grand entrance. (You may need the porter's help with luggage to get up the stairs). The bar is on an old classical style room which was great for cocktails. It is worth exploring the 1st floor. The rooms are modern, large and comfortable with nice bathrooms. The hotel is downtown and very convenient for walking to see the town and sites. The staff service was excellent. The breakfast provided a number of choices, but was, for Italy, slightly bland. (We may have been spoiled at some of the other hotels we stayed at). Otherwise the breakfast room is well appointed and again had excellent service. I would stay again.

Fantastic Stay—Spacious Rooms, Perfect Location, and Superb Breakfast! We had an excellent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Trieste! The rooms were very large, quiet, and exceptionally comfortable. The entire property felt incredibly safe and very clean, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time. The hotel's location is centrally located and perfect for exploring. It is an easy walk to the main pier, downtown shopping areas, and fantastic local restaurants. Another major highlight was the delicious breakfast, which offered a wide variety of fresh food choices every morning. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and perfectly situated base in Trieste!
