The location was perfect for my plans for the weekend. The room was very nice and it was great to have an ensuite with a very good shower. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, allowing me to check-in much earlier than scheduled, which was a great help.
The only real negative was not having the option of breakfast provided. It seems lots of guest houses haven't returned to doing that since Covid, which is a great shame, as it would be good to have a decent breakfast before setting out for the day.

Easy access and close to office, room was clean
Extremely dated , small TV for any viewing pleasure. Shared bathroom not great and not much room for anything to store.
