Borrowfield Lodge

Always clean, safe and secure.

Great accommodation

Liked privacy, quiet, clean, list of places to eat, Nigel was very helpful with our difficult overseas payment. Being from rural area it was difficult understanding security but destails were very good, just our lack of ability. I did get locked in bathroom at 3 a.m. as when I tried to get out as the lock fell out of the door handle. After trying to phone my husband as I used the phone as a torch, I ended up knocking on the adjoining wall. He finally woke up and came and opened door - it waas funny as it reminded me of when my mother in law had similar issue when she stayed at our house in the USA - payback for laughing at her! FYI vent inbathroom does not seem to work and could not open window so steam collected. Lovely place and not as noisy as a hotel.

This property has got to be the best we have stayed in, so peaceful with no slamming doors like in a hotel, very comfortable, everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable, Nigel is a great host very friendly, we will definitely stay here again. Yvonne
