Bolams Holiday Home is set in a quiet location with stunning views of the Kilkenny countryside and the River Nore in County Kilkenny. Situated on an elevated site this pet friendly holiday home is 2.8km from Thomastown village, a picturesque and popular village in County Kilkenny.
From Bolams Holiday Home you and your guests will experience a tranquil holiday setting, breath-taking scenery and numerous countryside walks right from your door with the added bonus of having Thomastown and Kilkenny close by.

2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.

Having lived in Ireland and Kilkenny for many years it was fantastic to return . A wonderful host . A wonderful house . Absolutely everything you could wish for was there . Thomastown and Kilkenny are beautiful areas . We were able to get to see all our friends and family whilst we were staying here . Loved it and hope to get back soon

House was nice and clean, the supplies of fresh milk,butter sausages etc already in the fridge was a nice touch.
The only two improvements that we can think of is if the back area was enclosed in some way to allow us leave out dog outside safely without being on the lead for fresh air etc. Also the area around the house could benefit from a more thorough tidy up, if we had small kids there could be potential dangerous spots eg bins, storage boxes and fencing

We couldn't have asked for a better stay for our few day's down at a wedding in Mount Juliet, only a short drive from Thomastown and the hotel.. The house was perfect, everything we needed catered for and John was a gentleman and made sure we were looked after..! House was 10/10! Will definitely be back next year..!
The welcome pack in the fridge was very much appreciated the morning after landing..!!

This is a great house, and they were extremely hospitable, including some food (bread, milk, white wine, ham, sparkling water) in case we needed to eat when we arrived. The only difficulty was finding it, as we were given the wrong address (it's on a completely different road than we were told), and we drove up some very narrow, overgrown lanes trying to find it. Once we got the Eircode (essential for addresses in Ireland!) we found it easily, and would happily stay there again.
