We’ve stayed here several times now and are never disappointed, lovely place, great location with the views, great outside space with added bonus large outdoor stove to keep us cosy in the evenings

The shepherds hut is magnificent. It's fitted out with everything you could possibly need inside the hut and has little touches, such as a book of local walks and local information, a torch and binoculars. The underfloor heating keeps it really cosy too.
In addition, the covered private outdoor area at the side of the hut is amazing. It means you can sit outside if you want, even if its rubbish weather. I didn't make use of the barbecue or log burner on this occasion but simply used the area to sit in with my mug of tea and admire the view.
John and Alison are friendly and welcoming hosts and will help you to settle in and then leave you in peace to enjoy the tranquility. The view from the hut is amazing. Really peaceful and quiet. I slept really soundly every night.
Having to leave.
