For what we paid I felt we had access to some great facilities, our apartment block wasn’t the best to look at but the studio itself had everything we could need and we could use the gym, pools, restaurants etc at the Pestana Dom Joao 2 which was just across the way. The block we stayed in (room 401) had 24 hour reception , indoor pool which was always nice and quiet, a supermarket just outside the front door and I must say the staff were always pleasant and helpful. We borrowed pool towels, hairdryer and adapter plug from reception. The room was pretty quiet, was clean and comfortable and had a lovely sea view. It was a 20 minute stroll along to the centre of alvor which was pleasant, we’d usually uber back for about 4 euros.

The high rise block didn’t look very attractive but not sure they can make it look any better. Everything else was spot on.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Spotlessly clean.

Building was a bit tired. It could do with a bit of a makeover.

Although reception held on to luggage there was no luggage room and no facilities for late checkouts, like changing rooms etc

The location near the beach was nice. And the second property where breakfast was served and the pools could be used was very nice.

The hotel itself was seemingly under construction. The photos on Booking showed a different property which was like 500m away. That was extremely misleading. The hotel was as far from luxe as you could imagine, with no amenities and strict towel use policies. The beds were also ROCK HARD.
