Post am See, Traunsee - 4 Stern Superior

We were blown away by this magical place! It was the perfect hotel to spend our wedding anniversary at. I can not say enough about how much we loved the Post am See in Traunsee and are looking forward to the day we can come back! The infinity rooftop pool with its georgeous views, the excelling breakfast buffet, our huge glorious room and the fabulous dinner was something we will never forget!

Great location and design. Restaurants are amazing. The pool is superb.

A bit of confusion at the front desk. We asked for the réservation of the restaurants which was booked from the front desk then cancelled without telling us. and the room was not cleant during true day although i specifically asked for it.

The staff was very welcoming and attended our requests and needs, showing us available rooms and letting us choose the one that felt right. (Thank you Sofi!) Our room's design was smart and cozy, it was a wonderful experience waking up and seeing the lake and mountains from bed after arriving to the hotel at night. Breakfast was served until 12.30pm. The chef's shakshouka was a favorite, and among the best I ever had. The food variety, freshness and quality were top grade. We were allowed to use the spa until 2pm after checkout, which allowed us to depart feeling well rested and fresh. The facilities themselves were smartly designed and very enjoyable.

The snack options at the spa were a little underwhelming in comparison to the breakfast, but that's nit picking.

Amazing room with views of the lake. Pool and relaxation area was exceptional. Decor was beautiful. Breakfast and dining was excellent.
