Universal Hotel Castell Royal

Hotel was clean and had all the basics. Reusable water bottle in room and water dispenser (only one on level 2 not on each level) Location is remote but nice.

Food isn't good and very expensive for basics food. Bed was not comfortable and kept rolling apart. There is a coffee machine at breakfast bit they take it way and charge you at lunch and dinner. Reusable water bottle in room and water dispenser (only one on level 2 not on each level) but they charge you for water at lunch/dinner/bar Towels are expensive to rent... so we took towels from our room and used them. There is no "games room". The pool closes at 6 sharp

Peut être l’animatrice qui jouait avec les enfants sur la terrasse au bord de la piscine le soir. Les enfants hurlaient (de bonheur !) mais c’était assez insupportable pour les clients… Ceci dit les parents des enfants étaient heureux de voir leurs enfants rie danser et chanter !

The hotel is in a small, quiet town but it still has enough stores and restaurants. The whole area is very quiet, perfect for relaxing. The hotel was very clean and environmentally friendly. The rooms are nice with an amazing view at the pool and at the sea. The pool area is also nice, the pool has a good temperature. The sea is 2 minutes walk and the beach is very nice and shallow, crystal clear water, sandy beach and calm water. All meals had great variety and quality.

The only negative was that the pool table was not included in the all inclusive package and worked only with coins

From the moment we walked into reception to the moment we went to the restaurant and bar we were greeted with happy friendly welcoming staff. They wanted us both to have a great holiday and they achieved that. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy. A big special thank you goes to Ricardo the life guard who made our trips to the pool such fun with loads of laughter. To Loida and everyone behind the bar who looked after us so well. The food was amazing for the whole stay. Emanuel the chef had such a huge smile and so welcoming every morning for breakfast. Our stay was so good we have already booked whilst at the hotel for next year. Thank you all so much.

The food was way too good and we both have at least 2kgs to drop after a 10 day stay. 😄
