My stay at Plantations Villa in Midigama was truly perfect from start to finish. The location is unbeatable — peaceful, surrounded by nature, and just a short walk from the beach. The terrace has a beautiful view of the sea, and it became one of my favorite places to relax. It’s also a perfect spot for surfers, with great waves nearby and easy access to different breaks.
The atmosphere at the villa is warm and welcoming, with lovely evenings spent on the terrace chatting with friendly people and enjoying the calm surroundings. The environment feels homely in the best way.
What makes this place exceptional is the family who runs it. Tharindu, his wife, and their son are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive and are always ready to help with anything you need. Their hospitality adds a personal touch that makes the whole experience unforgettable.
Everything exceeded expectations — comfort, cleanliness, location, and the warmth of the hosts. A well‑deserved 10/10.

The location right on the beach and with a sea view is the strong point of this structure. In front of one of the most famous spot.You fall asleep with the sound of the sea. The owners are very kind and helpful. They rent surfboards free of charge for the resident, that’s cool. The price is very good.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the rooms, needs a lot to be reviewed. There's dust everywhere, stains, haloes.

I came to stay at Plantations Villa for the second time and overall my experience was good. The location was excellent, right next to the beach and surf spot (making it convenient for surfers, villa also offers surf rent free of charge).
The room was nice and clean, it has small fridge and an electric kettle. The owner is very nice, caring and helpful.
Overall, I would recommend staying in Plantations villa, and I would stay here again in the next trip!
