Pont Y Pair Inn

Staff were lovely, hotel was decorated in beautiful autumn lights and decorations, making it feel cosy. Food was fab I was here to climb Snowden so it was perfect before moving on to our walking location accommodation. Lots of walking stores in the town to pass by the time. If I was to come back again I would happily stay here. Nothing not to like, manager was fantastic and friendly too

We loved that the Pont Y Pair Inn was dog friendly and that there was no extra cost for bringing our two four legged friends along with us! The decor and atmosphere in the hotel was good and the room was good value for money for the area in which it is located. The area is great for walks from the door or driving to nearby Eryri National Park. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good and staff were helpful. There is a public car park (£8.50 for 24 hours) and some free on street parking within a few minutes walk of the hotel. There is access to a convenience store, bakery, fish and chip shop, restaurants and outdoor shops within a few feet of the hotel.

The room was really warm to the extent that it made it difficult to sleep, the radiator in the room was not on but the radiator in the ensuite bathroom did not appear to be able to be turned off. The beds were small and did not feel the most comfortable. Our room key opened the front door as well which concerned us a bit as we were unsure as to whether this meant that all room keys open all room doors. The hotel does not have on site parking.

Brilliant location. Lively pub in the evening without being disturbing for sleep. We had a Sunday roast that was very nice. Clean warm room, brilliant shower. Friendly staff.

Could do with a tidy up, shelf was hanging off in the shower, black mould could be seen on shower tray. The room itself could do with being painted. Just overpriced for what you get.
