Salt Hay Haven - Fun filled getaway - Wharton's Cove - Walk to the beach!
Cette maison de 6 chambres 3. 5 Bath est louée pour la première fois! C'est une maison de bord de mer située sur Wharton's Cove avec accès à la plage privée à Breakwater Beach à travers US1. Situé à 1 mile au sud de l'Indian River Bridge et à proximité de la Bethany Bike Trail, cette magnifique maison a tout pour plaire. Plan d'étage inversé avec vue sur l'eau non obstruée de la rivière Indian. 2 maîtres, chacun avec sa propre salle de bain, 2 douches extérieures et quai pour lancer des kayaks, des planches de paddle ou un petit bateau. Nouvelle moquette dans toutes les chambres et de grands ponts sur les deux étages pour regarder le coucher du soleil. 3 des chambres ont accès aux ponts. Marcher pour manger au Matt's Fish Camp à travers US1 ou monter jusqu'au restaurant Indian River Marina ou le nouveau restaurant en bord de mer à l'Indian River Beach Park. Deuxième Beach House similaire disponible 3 portes plus. Voir la liste VRBO. Louer un ou les deux. Idéal pour les familles, les amis, les événements d'entreprise. Impossible de battre l’emplacement et la vue.

Kitchen clean , lots of glass wear, utensils, plates, cupboard space, paper products and soap! 6 comfortable beds with linens and plenty of towels and beach towels. 2 kayaks are a very nice touch but only 1 working paddle. 5 bicycles but none rideable…. Flat tires, rusty chains or no brakes. Pet friendly! Air conditioning inefficient when heat is excessive. Close to beautiful private beach w lifeguards.

Great location between Bethany and Dewey. It is right on the main highway but you barely notice unless you’re out front of the house. The size is great for a couple families. The sunsets are to die for, and there’s a nice sandy beach at low tide for wading or letting dogs swim. The host even let us bring multiple dogs which made this multi family vacation much better. The only reason I knocked a star off is the interior is dated and in need of an update plus some repairs. It’s clean and works fine, but compared to some other properties it looks old.

Beautiful house with panoramic views of bay and nightly sunsets! Easy walk directly across street to beach with lifeguard. Private dock made fishing, crabbing and kayaking fun and easy. Kayaks/oars were in mint condition and life preservers were also available. Arrival/check in was very smooth. Spacious bedrooms with all large beds that were made up with towels in each room. Bathrooms very clean and supplied with plenty of amenities, soaps, TP, tissues etc.Well appointed kitchen for those who love to cook also with plenty of papergoods.Very large decks with plenty of furniture on both floors gave plenty of room for our large group to spread out.Screened in porch is a huge plus!Plenty of parking space for us and our kids.Short drive to Bethany and Rehoboth.Checkout easy as just had to put linens/towels in bag for service to pick up on check out morning- many other rentals have you clean all before you leave.Looking forward to our next stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious, waterfront home that is beautifully decorated with a nautical theme. From the decks on both levels, we watched and photographed fabulous sunsets over Indian River Bay. Wharton's Cove residents and vacationers have direct access to spectacular, private Bethany Beach just a short walk away. All that is needed is a little patience to get directly to the ocean across Coastal Highway 1, which includes a path for biking enthusiasts. This residence is located at the beginning of the Delaware Seashore State Park and there's no other residence towards the north in Wharton's Cove. It's a great spot for kayaking on the bay and its channels, for fishing and for observing wildlife, especially birds. The beds in the home were very comfortable so we slept well. It was a great stay and easy for our family to comply with social distancing regulations. Thank you for this wonderful week.
