Very peaceful.
The single beds had no support. I’m a light person but the springs are old. It was very uncomfortable.
We could not use the stove it didn’t work.

We booked all of the cottages, so we really did enjoy the entire property and connecting with family and friends over the braai fires. The beds and linen are excellent and of high quality - slept like babies :-) We loved the history and feel of the 250+ year old restored buildings.
One of the dogs on the property came into our cottage and tried to climb onto the kitchen counter to get to food, breaking some of the items on the counter. The dog also tried to get food out of our bin and left us with a very messy kitchen. But will take some blame, because our daughter didn't close the front door correctly.

I enjoyed my stay at Natte Valleij very much. The place has something very warm and authentical. The family in charge was also very friendly.
Slighthly weathered by time but this also adds to the charm.
