Janine the host was first class, could not do enough for us. Breakfast was fantastic and the room had a real Greek feel to it. Located in a quiet spot just far enough away from the main town, which was still in easy waking distance. Would highly recommend this house to anyone

From the moment we arrived, the house felt rather special. Beautifully designed with an effortless aesthetic, wonderfully high ceilings and rooms that are both elegant and exceptionally comfortable, it has that rare quality of feeling luxurious without ever becoming pretentious. But the true star of the show? Those sunrise views. Waking up to the golden light spilling through the windows, with Symi slowly stirring beneath us, was quite simply enchanting. There is something rather magical about enjoying such a view from the comfort of your own room. And then, of course, there is breakfast ……and oh, the breakfast! This was undoubtedly the highlight of our mornings, and quite possibly of our entire stay. Jenine prepares the most extraordinary spread, from her delicious homemade yoghurt with muesli, fresh fruit and glorious Symi honey, to freshly squeezed juice, local pastries from the neighbourhood bakery, unlimited coffee and her wonderfully comforting scrambled eggs on toast. Every morning felt less like breakfast and more like a little Mediterranean ritual. Jenine was also wonderfully attentive without ever being intrusive, and her recommendations for local restaurants were absolutely invaluable. She made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for throughout our stay. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are looking for somewhere beautiful, peaceful and utterly charming in Symi, this is the sort of place that turns a holiday into a cherished memory. The house, the views, the breakfast and, above all, the warmth of the hospitality make it a truly exceptional stay. We are returning next year…… this will probably become an annual tradition.
