8 / 10Excellent·juill. 2026
This Holiday Inn is in need of some serious upgrades involving their amenities. Dated and often in disrepair, the pool and outside bar/restaurant needed a good declutter and updated patio furniture and tables. The pool was clean but has obviously seen better days.
BUT, the saving grace to our 2 night stay was the incredible staff. Kind, efficient and knowledgeable. From the front desk, to housekeeping, to the great bartender, this Holiday Inn has some great employees.
As well, our room was very clean and comfortable and most likely just remodeled.

The room was clean. I especially liked that I wasn’t carpeted. I didn’t use the balcony but it was a nice to have for sure. Staff were friendly. The Pool area was clean and it was great having an indoor and outdoor option plus it was heated. The sauna was good too!

This hotel is very well maintained and conveniently located. We really enjoyed the patio of the on-site restaurant with entertainment the evening we were there. We enjoyed our water view patio, and the walkway along the water. The dock for the Lift Lock Cruise is right beside the parking lot, which was very handy. There's a grocery store a couple blocks away, other shopping in walkable distance, and a Tim Hortons and Smittys right across the street. The staff were all very friendly and seemed truly interested in making sure we enjoyed our stay. Great spot!
