Great and friendly experience.

This location was delightful! We arrived late and the pool was still open so the kids could get their road trip energy out. There were delicious cookies, the staff were ALL so kind and friendly, and the view over the lake was exceptional. Great stay, delicious breakfast, and 25 hr coffee. Happy parents, happy kids.

It lives up to it's brand, being the economy brand for Hilton.
Not a big property, but plenty of parking, and we'll maintained. There's a lot of history in that area, and the outside decor highlights that. It's a steep drive, and I wouldn't want to try it on snow and ice. But at least it won't flood.
The inside is spotless, the room is spacious and clean, and the beds; I haven't slept that good in a long time. The balcony view out to the hills is beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The doors are handicap accessible.
After a wonderful night's sleep, the breakfast was great. All the usual stuff, but the omelets were maybe the best part; Or the waffles. Okay, it was all delicious.
Honestly, the only complaint I can find, there was no freezer in the fridge. While I'm not super high class, it was definitely a lot more than I was expecting, for the price.
I was exhausted when I got there, and forgot to get pics before I settled in. But I did get a couple of the view.

We love Hampton Inns, but this one was extra special because it sat up higher on a mountain. We enjoyed the balcony view!
