Hotel is in a great location, opposite the park. It is very stylishly decorated and the breakfast was great. The downside was that it was during the hot weather and the room was extremely hot, even though there was a fan in it. The windows only opened a little, probably due to safety reasons. It was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. Parking was quite a way down the road, but we were given a pass, so not charged.
The garden was nice to have an evening drink.

Beautiful room in a lovely hotel. Staff were attentive and friendly. Extra touches in the room like homemade biscuits and a little decanter of port were thoughtful and much appreciated. Really nice finishes in room and bathroom. Comfy bed and a fantastic fan for warm nights! Definitely recommend a drink in the courtyard. We'll definitely be back.

If you want to stay in a small characterful boutique hotel in a very pleasant area of Cheltenham then look no further. The hotel has a very welcoming feel and all members of staff we met were really helpful and pleasant. The hotel has a really lovely lounge area and if we were staying longer, I would have definitely used it as a quiet reading spot, likewise the small courtyard area adjacent to the restaurant. We stayed in Room 14 which was on the top floor of the hotel. As there is no lift, probably not the best room for someone with mobility difficulties as the stairs are quite steep, although this wasn’t an issue for us and the room was beautiful. We also liked the personal touches in the room of the port, biscuits and biogs of the main members of staff. But the stand out factor of our stay was the food. We had dinner and breakfast here and both were exceptional. I don’t normally have three courses but couldn’t resist the scallops with pea purée, followed by fillet steak and finally a rhubarb soufflé. Breakfast was also a triumph. So huge thanks to both chefs - you certainly delivered and we would definitely recommend you. All in all the hotel made our stay in Cheltenham and I would definitely recommend it.
