Holiday Inn Express Swindon City Centre by IHG

The room was clean and spacious. Our only minor complaint is about the shower stall. It was only half enclosed so splashes of water on the floor was inevitable. The drain was also a little bit slow, so we had to turn down the shower flow to avoid standing in a puddle of water. The full breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold foods, which did not vary during our 3 night stay. We enjoyed it nonetheless. There were two parking options, one underground in the hotel building, and the other open-air one minute walk away. Both were managed by third party. We rented a car and used the off-site parking lot. There were plenty of other cars, and we felt safe in that neighborhood. Overall, we would consider booking this hotel again if we were to visit this area in the future.

Clean rooms

The room was spot on the breakfast food was really good but it was so disorganized as to cleaning plates no plates out no tea spines no bread it was packed and they didn't cope had fire scare staff were good don't have a car overall enjoyed near shops would stay again

Had a peaceful stay. Room clean and well presented. Plug holes and sink outlets could have been cleaner. Welcome staff on evening were very helpful with places to eat and got us some ice-cream when asked. An ice cream machine would be good in foyer. Very convenient parking around the corner. This hotel makes a good base for going out of the area. Sadly the local area has been run down by high retail rents. We did find a good Nepal restaurant momo king. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Staff very attentive and helpful. Even though we sai we weren’t leaving so don’t worry our room was freshened and towels replaced. A good base for a few days .
